Suggest Treatment For Pain In Leg And Hips During Pregnancy

I have had constant pain in my right leg that worsens at night. I have to physically move my right leg with my hands each time I roll over while I sleep. The pain shoots up to my hips and down to my feet. Getting to a sitting position from laying down takes a lot of work and it excrutiating. I am 32 weeks pregnant but have been feeling this for the past 3 or 4 months. I sleep with pillows between my knees and behind my back and under my belly but this does not relieve any pain. Any other suggestions?

Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Pain in the hip or legs is common in pregnancy due to stretching of the ligaments.
However, if the pain is excruciating, then it needs to be evaluated properly by a neurologist or an orthopaedic surgeon and treatment should be done accordingly.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
