hi, I suffer from constipation, but last week I finally opened my bowels after a couple of days, and got aches and pains in the my legs. Could this be connected to the diarrha I got? It is the first time I ve suffered with aches and pains in this area, from just above the knee.

Hi,

Dehydration and loss of electrolytes due to diarrhoea can cause pain or cramps in your legs. Drink plenty of water, fruit juice or tender coconut. Oral rehydration solution(ORS) powder mixed with water can also prevent dehydration.Low blood pressure should also be ruled out. In case of severe hypotension or fatigue,Intravenous fluids may be required to correct the fluid volume.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
