Suggest Treatment For Pain In Lower Back Area

I have pain in my lower back on my right side only. I had lifted a box a week ago and then when I lifted something again a few days ago it hurt again. The pain does not seem to subside at all. I have never had pain for this long over a pulled muscle. Usually after a couple of days it starts to subside. It hurts as much today as it did the day I lifted something. It hurts a lot just to flip over in the bed at night from one side to the other.

hi,
this seems like a muscle sprain/strain.
sometimes the pain may persist.
It would be suggested to go for physical measures like hot fomentation and using local application of diclofenac.
however if symptoms persist, it would be best to take an anti inflammatory medication under supervision of your doctor.
