Suggest Treatment For Pain In Neck And Shoulder After An Injury

I have a discomfort on the left side of my neck and and upper shoulder from a fall, I was doing Therapy for that. but my doctor told me with therapy at home the discomfort will go away, I'm having a little pain when I moved my neck but it's more of a presser on my the left side of my neck and Left shoulder. Please advise what I should do.
