Suggest Treatment For Pain In Penis

hi doc, i m 28 yr old male, about 6 foot, 185 lbs or so I ve had two sexual intercourse with strangers, within last two weeks, protected, and an unprotected with my longtime girlfriend twice within last week. never had any history of STDs or other significant disease. i ve noticed that I m being bothered by some pain at the tip of my penis after urination. It was nothing but a bothersome feeling of some urine remaining in tract, but yesterday it started hurting a bit. nothing painful or particularly burning while actually peeing, pain comes after. no noticeable discharge to speak of, no other noticeable symptom. no backpain or sores, no fever. Last night was probably the peak, but since then it had died down quite a bit, particularly within last 3-4 hours. I m thinking about visiting a doctor if it doesn t go away by tomorrow - is it something I should be very concerned about? thank you

Hi,

According to your symptoms, it can be urinary tract infection. Doing a urine culture sensitivity will help you diagnose the organism and treatment.

Taking adequate water and cranberry juice can help you.

If you suspect STI you need to do TPHA, HSV 1+2, IgG, HSV 1+2, IgM, CHLAMYDIA TRACHOMATIS IgG, HIV 1&2, HbsAg, Urine Complete investigation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. S.R.Raveendran, Sexologist
