Suggest Treatment For Pain In Shoulders,legs And Feet

I am 54 years old and have been training for a half marathon that I will do this Saturday. I seem to experience a lot of aching every spring. Especially in my shoulders, lower legs, back and feet. I have tried to decrease my sugar intake some days better than others. I occasionally take ibuprofen for extreme discomfort, i try to watch taking this since i have acid reflux. I was recently fitted for good walking shoes. What else can I do to stop this aching. Also should I be taking folic acid if I am already considered acidic?
