Suggest Treatment For Pain In Testicle

I went to the doctor today for pain in my groin/testicles/perineal pain area. He was very dismissive and told me that my outer ring on the left side feels like "little bit loose", and that it might be a problem in the future, and we'll "keep an eye on it", for me to call him if it gets worse. This has been going on for almost a year for me, and it's starting to feel like someone kicked me in the testicles at this point. I feel he was dismissive and quick, and considering the slew of possibilities of things that can cause this type of pain, I find it difficult to think that he can just shoo me off without any type of testing, xray or MRI. Should I get a second opinion or do you think I'm being unreasonable? I'm in pain. It hurts. I just want help.

Urologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist,i can understand your anxiety.
For your symptoms, you need to get examined by an Urologist.
Thereafter,an ultrasound doppler scan of scrotum, needs to done.
Information of changes, related to the testis, will be seen very clearly.
X-ray or MRI aren't needed at present. After the Urologist sees the scan report,he'll give you a clear picture of the cause for your symptoms.
If you've any doubt, you can send reports to me,as a direct question.
Dr.Matthew J. Mangat.
