Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Abdomen While Having Appendicitis
Hello, my 17 year old son had his appendix burst about 2 months ago. It was decided by the surgeon that it was not necessary to remove since there is little chance of it bursting again and most of it had ruptured. He has been feeling fine but has felt what he says is a mild pain the last couple of days in the appendix area when he lays down or presses on it. Is this normal?

Appendicitis is an inflammation of the appendix. The pain is completely normal.
I suggest taking anti-inflation medication such as Ibuprofen three times a day.
If it is needed I suggest using antibiotics as prescribed by your doctor.
