Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been having a sharp pain starting from the bottom of my bra line to my lower abdomin. Starting yesterday about 3:00. The pain comes about every 30-60 minutes. Very sharp and last abut 1-2 minutes. Its not a bowel movement pain or menstral pain. I am 54 years old. I have not had a menstral period in 10 years. Do I really have to pay to receive a response
The pain you are feeling starting from the bottom of your bra line to your lower abdomen is indicating an emergency as the pain comes about every 30-60 minutes. To me, you should see your caring doctor as soon as possible as you need a few diagnostic tests including abdominal ultrasound to determine the right diagnosis and appropriate treatment strategy. For the moment, take antacids, and paracetamol and observe the changes.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
