Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Buttocks Running Down Up-to Shin
I have been rehabbing from non invasive laminectomy and making progress, with just morning pain in lower lumbar area. two days ago , I awoke with sharp pain in buttocks and running down the thy & hamstring and to the shin area. Hurts to walk. surgery was Feb 8.
Pain in buttocks running down the shin is likely to be neural in origin. With a previous history of laminectomy, compression of nerve is the most probable cause. I suggest you to consult your treating doctor at the earliest.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Shailja Puri, Pathologist and Microbiologist
