Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
hi! i have a painful hardness on my heel just next to my arch. i was wearing flip flops a lot this summer so when i had to work (i cashier) i would wear slide on shoes without socks. i just got new tennis shoes and am wearing socks again. should i be worried about my foot?
According to Your description, I am of the opinion that Callus formation has taken due to repeated microtrauma along with sweat and dust causing a local inflammatory reaction at the site.
I would advise Salicylic acid patches to be applied locally along with some benzacaine solution local application. Follow me up after this.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Ashish Ranjan, General & Family Physician
