Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Left Side Of The Face

Hi, What causes face pain that runs on the left side behind the ear. Sometimes it feels as though my face freezes and behind my left ear is a knot. I am very irritable and confused sometimes. Its like someone pulls a shade down and I forget what I was doing. I am exhausted all the time.

Thanks you for asking this question. I have undergone through your question. I understand your concern. It is neuralgic pain.

Advise
1. Tablet Amitriptyline 10 mg at bed time for 1 month
2. Tablet vitamin B12 (Neurobion) - 1 tablet daily for 1 month

If it does relieve pain then you contact a neurologist in your area.
