Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Lower Back And Hip

I am getting severe stabbing, throbbing pain in my lower back and hip and same areas in front,on my left side. This only seems to occur when I am working where I do a lot of walking, standing, bending, lifting, etc. It seems to get better with a couple of hours of rest, but there still is some dull, achy pain even then. What is this and what can I do about it?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely due to back muscle strain. Hot fomentation and short course of NSAIDs like Ibuprofen will be helpful for this. Avoid bending and weight lifting for 5 days. Applying NSAID gels like Diclofenac (Volini) is good also. If there is no improvement then consult your GP and have a physical examination. Ultrasound examination might be needed to rule out kidney stone disease in such case also.

Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
