i have moderate pain to my right lower back, especially right side. Had minor trauma, feel but more of a twist, was trying to control my dog as i fell. Did not hurt right away has gotten worse, incident happened about 1 week ago. Hurts with reaching arms forward, am worried about bulging disc or hairline fracture? dony know how easy it is to have that happened.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have pain in the lower back . Well i would suggest you to consult orthopedic surgeon for proper examination and treatment . Doctor may order CT scan or MRI of spine .Doctor may prescribe anti inflammatory , muscle relaxants , narcotics or tricyclic antidepressants.
Doctor may also recommend surgery . Doctor may also recommend surgery in which surgeons can remove the bone spur or the portion of the herniated disk that's pressing on the pinched nerve. For now apply warm compresses and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain .
Avoid bending forward and lifting of heavy weight . Do not work in one posture for long time .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
