Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Lower Chest Area

I have a severe pain on he right side of my lower chest. It feels like something (a bone) is broken. It has shown up over the past two days. On a scale of 0 -10 with 0 = to no pain and 10 leaving me as a pile of quivering protoplasm, the pain lives between 4 and 6 with occasional forays to 7 and 8. I have been coughing slightly but have been able to control it. Several days ago I fell face-down in my yard but I don t believe this is the cause. I mention it simply because I could be wrong.
