General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

There are 2 striking possibility in this issue as acute muscle spasm or renal, ureter calculus most likely. Along with the pain, details of urination discomfort, associated nausea, vomiting and other postural changes related to pain are very vital information missing here.

Kindly revert back with all details of symptoms in follow up conversation. Till the time, drink more liquids and take tablet ibuprofen or dicyclomine for primary pain relief to be consumed after meals. A need of X-ray or ultrasound would also be a part of management of the issue for precise diagnosis and care accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
