Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Middle Of The Chest

Hi. I am a 20 year old male. I live a normal life. I work in the fast food industry. last night I work from 4 p.m. To 11:30 p.m. Which usually means I get one meal. Everything went normal that night I got home played my game and went to sleep. But when I woke up I had this excruciating pain in the middle of my chest. It will gradually get worse as I breathe and it only comes down when I sit still. What does this mean, and what should I do.

Thanks for your question on HCM.
I can understand your concern.
By your history and description, possibility of acute gastritis and reflux of acid is more.
But better to get done ecg to rule out cardiac cause for your chest pain.
If ecg is normal, acute gastritis is more likely.
So better to avoid stress and tension. Avoid hot and spicy food. Drink plenty of fluids.
Start Proton pump inhibitors.
Avoid smoking and alcohol if you have these habits.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
Hope I have solved your query.
Wish you good health. Thanks.
