Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have pain to the right of my navel and sometimes in the lower right portion of my abdomen when I cough, laugh, bend over, or move wrong . I have a history of gastric bypass, bowel resection and ventral hernia repair. CT scan last week was negative. Could this still be a hernia or maybe pulled muscle or appendicitis trouble? Thanks for helping.
From your description, it seems like pulled muscle. Take paracetamol. If you are also feeling bloating, or constipated, should correct it adequately with lots of fluids, fiber, simethicone and probiotics. If still no improvement, should check with your caring doctor and run a few more tests to rule out appendicitis.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
