Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Neck And Swollen Glands

I ve had pain in my neck for approximately 2 weeks. It s only on the right side and my glands are not swollen. My throat is not sore either. The pain is most apparent when I sneeze or cough, and very rarely when I swallow. Sometimes there is discomfort when I touch it with my fingers or turn a certain way.

Hello,

The pain you describe sounds most like a musculoskeletal cause for the pain, such as a strained muscle or muscle spasm.

I would recommend using an anti-inflammatory, such as Ibuprofen, and trying to rest as much as you can.

You can also try applying a hot pad a few times a day to see if that helps. If it still isn't getting better in a week, you probably should have a doctor examine you to try to determine clearly what the cause is.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
