Hello I have a bump on the back of my neck thatvis moveable from left to right but not up and down. It is painful and causes pain in my right shoulder as well. it s been here since I was about 10 and I am 21 , it s been getting larger very slowly and is now about the size of a nickle. Do you have any idea what this could be?
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic. I can understand your concern. Painful swelling over shoulder joint area which is movable also is mostly due to sebaceous cyst or lipoma or neuroma. You are also having shoulder pain. So better to get done x ray of that shoulder and ultrasound examination of swelling for the diagnosis of this swelling. Excision Biopsy is the treatment of choice for such swelling. So consult your doctor and discuss all these. Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
