Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Right Side Of Back

Male pt., age 73, comes in with constant pain in the rt. Side of back above waist for 4-6 weeks increasing as time goes by the pain is constant from medium to worse. Above kidney area and two other places above now involved. The pain is spreading into side of thoracic area as well.

Hello

According to the history you provide he should do first a chest X ray and an abdominal ultrasound
Also some blood test such as alt ast lipase amylase are needed.
