Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Shoulder

My husband has injured his shoulder (the doctor said it was muscle injury). It is painful to move it, and he cannot rest in a reclining position. Is there some way we can brace the shoulder while he lays down to rest? Until we can get him back to his doctor.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

He may have to sit propped up to reduce pressure on the shoulder. By propping up there would be less weight on the joint.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Michelle Gibson James, General & Family Physician
