General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi. Sorry to hear about your problem. As per details provided by you if the diagnosis of hydrocele is confirmed then you need to visit a surgeon and get it operated upon for a definitive cure. Meanwhile you can take pain killer medicines as you wait for an appointment. See your primary physician to get a prescription of pain killer agents (like diclofenac, ibuprofen etc) if these drugs are not available over the counter in your locality. Wishing you best of health.
