Suggest Treatment For Pain, Redness And Swelling On The Fingers
Fouth finger on my right hand. For a few days now I have noticed that at times that one finger doesn t extend naturally. I just gently straghten or uncurl with my other hand. Any idea what s causing this? I don t have any pain, redness or swelling. Thanks for any help.
This might suggest a trigger finger. In this condition, tendon sheath becomes narrow from inflammation, interfering with free mobility of the muscle tendon. Finger gets stuck at some position, which then releases with a snap on passive attempt.
Kindly see an orthopedist for management. Usually this needs a minor surgical procedure for complete cure.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam TK
