Suggest Treatment For Pain Under Right Arm After Injury

I had a injury under my right arm. Initially it wasn t painful. After some time I started feeling pain and also limited movement. I got my blood checked. Every thing was fine except for high ESR. My doctor recommended me Tonoflex and daily Phisiotharapy. Would you please tell me any specific reason for that.

Hi,

You have been prescribed tonoflex to reduce pain due to arm injury. The drug contains two pain killers, one opioid and one non-opioid pain killer-hydrocodone and paracetamol. I recommend you to take an X-ray of the arm in case of persistent pain. This will rule out any small fractures.Any muscle cramp may require the use of muscle relaxants like Chlorzoxazone.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
