Suggest Treatment For Pain While Blowing Nose And Eating After Tongue Bite

my 9yr old grandson was jumping on a trampoline today and did a flip and his knee hit his chin and he bit his tongue deep, the immediate care called the hospital and they didn t think that he needed stitches. Grandson says it hurt when he blows his nose, hurt to eat. What shall I give him, what shall I do?
