Suggest Treatment For Pain While Suffering From Gall Stones

Hi, I have a history of Gall bladder disease, I have recently discovered I have five gall stones, very high cholesterol and also raised C 18 levels in my blood. I went with respect to the constant pain I have (Gallbladder) but the doctor has ignored this and sent me for exhaustive tests. Should I still have all these other tests?

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
If you could have mentioned about the tests which was prescribed by the doctor, then it could have been commented as to weather it was relevant to your case or not.
Anyway, since you are having gall stones with high cholesterol and it is symptomatic, it is better to get it surgically removed at the earliest. If the tests have been ordered as part of fitness to surgery, then you need to get the tests done.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
