Suggest Treatment For Pain While Swallowing After Swallowing A Fishbone

I saw an ENT specialist in the ER and he said he didn t see a fishbone, but the fish bone did scratch my throat. Now I wake up and see white stones in the back of my throat. It hurts everytime I swallow. How lonn will I feel this pain everytime I swallow?

Even though the bone is not seen, it is possible that it did cause some damage to the throat.

The white areas that you are noticing may be sites of trauma as the bone passed in this area.

It may take a few days for healing to occur.
The use of anti inflammatory pain killers would help to reduce the pain and may help with healing.

You should use soft foods, cool or cold foods.
