General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
If you have hyperactivity. You can have sips of cold milk in addition to water. Slowly you can add Bland diet in small quantities 3-4 hourly can be digested along with the acidity pills. Avoiding spicy, hot food, alcohol, smoking and also avoiding stress and irritation. Having sound sleep for 6 hours at night helps with healing acidity. Consultation of a gastroenterology and have a specific diagnosis and treatment would be ideal.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
