My wife was told that she had a sticky lung apparently based upon an X-ray which was taken yesterday. My understanding is that it is a fluid like substance but should not be taken as pneumonia. What is a sticky lung condition. Would it cause sharp pains in the lung. Tom
the x-ray report is not understood. it does not indicate any specific disease. for fluid like substance it can be pleural effusion. for pneumonia there can be consolidation. so in your case nothing of like that. you should have given history of specific problem.it essential clinical test can differentiate the problem and easy to reach in diagnosis.
