Suggest Treatment For Painful And Swollen Ear

Yesterday I noticed that my ear lob was swollen but didn t think much of it, but today it is hard as a rock, and painful. The pain is going into my inner ear, and my lymph node is swollen and hurts to touch as well. What is this, and can I fix it at home?

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

It may be condritis or insect bite or allergy. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Use cold and warm compression every 6th hourly. Use tablet Diclofenac with serratio peptidase for five days. If symptoms have not improved, please consult with your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
