Suggest Treatment For Painful Blisters Between The Toes

I m a 73 year old white male, 250 lbs, 6 7 tall. Today developed a blister between 3rd and 4th toes that is causing a great deal of discomfort when I stand, not so much sitting... Treated earlier with Lanacaine or athletes foot. This has worked well for me in the past, but I have never experienced so much discomfort as right now. Any thoughts?

Hi,

It seems to be fungal but viral warts or bacterial boils should be ruled out by a dermatologist review. Meanwhile, terbanafine or oral anti fungal like fluconozole may be needed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
