Suggest Treatment For Painful Bumps On The Buttocks

I occasionally get big painful bumps on my buttocks. If I wash my hands and the bump thoroughly and squeeze, pus and blood squirts out of it. I have no idea what to do but after I squeeze it I put on antibiotic and a bandaid. What is this? Are they just pimples?

This is so called boil. Your boil is due to repeated infection. Your proneness to infection depends upon your body immune system which fights against any such invading agent such as bacteria, virus and fungus. There are a number of factors which jeopardize your immune system resulting in increased susceptibility to infection. Those factors include nutritional deficiency, diabetes, and compromised skin integrity such as after surgery or trauma, excessive sweating, and compromised blood circulation. Look at these aspects. You might find the cause of repeated infection in yourself.
Advice
1.     Apply Mupirocin ointment (T – Bact ointment) thrice daily
2.     Amoxicillin 500 mg every 8 hours for 7 days
3.     Wear loose cotton undergarment and clothes
4.     Sweating predisposes infection. You can use dusting powder to keep your buttock dry.
5.     If you have too much hair in your buttock then you can trim those hairs regularly
6.     Adopt proper hygienic practices such as bathing and cleaning with good quality soap
7.     Wash your hand before taking food and after coming from toilet
8.     Take high protein diet such as eggs, meat, cheese, vegetable and fruits
9.     Adopt proper hygienic practices such as bathing and cleaning with good quality soap
10.     Investigation – blood sugar (F & PP)
