Suggest Treatment For Painful Bumps Under The Foot

I feel a bump underneath my left foot, it is very painful when I press it. It is in the instep, no pain when I walk. People have been telling me I am limping for several months. I didnt realize it was coming from something inside the foot itself. Any idea what it could be?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms are most likely suggestive plantar warts. As of now, you can take drugs like tramadol or aceclofenac for pain relief.

Once the pain has subsided you can consult a dermatologist and get evaluated. You can go for cryosurgery or cauterisation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
