Suggest Treatment For Painful Coccyx

What can I do to relief a very painful cocxyx? I fell very hard (and assume i broke it) more than 40 years ago. I experience cramps down the outside of my left leg and around my calf. I have a doughnut pillow, have been to both a chiropractitioner and a phisiotherapist and still no relief. Got some cortizone injections too. Can it be an abses close to the cocxyx and how is that drained? I did make an appointment with a neuro chirugh, but first opening only in two months' time. In the meantime i struggle to sit, to stand up, to lay down, to get up to travel...
I am very depressed by now!
