Suggest Treatment For Painful Cramps And Delayed Periods

I tend to get my period on the 20th of every month. It s usually very heavy and more often than not, I ll have painful cramps. However, this month on the 20th, I didn t get my period. On the 22nd, with no period in sight, I took a HPT. The result was negative. I then noticed later that night very light red bleeding. Hardly anything. No more bleeding that night. The next day, a little more bleeding. And no more bleeding until today. About an hour ago, light red/pinkish bleeding and light cramping. I m extremely confused for I have never had an irregular period. They re always consistent. I have had sex unprotected and I am a smoker and occasional drinker. Any information would be awesome!
