Suggest Treatment For Painful Cysts In The Breast

Hi. I have breast cysts in one of my breasts. It couse pain and unequality in size of breasts. What should I do now? I am afraid of breast cancer!! I had momography and sonography years ago and dr mentioned it is cyst and nothing is obnormal. I am 31 years old, have no desease. Thank you.

Any mass either solid or cystic of the breast must be removed surgically and sent for histopathological examination. This is called excision biopsy, and is usually done under general anesthesia. The cyst you have must be of significant size, since you say that the breasts are of unequal size. It is good that you do not have any other disease. However please do consult a general surgeon, who would after the required tests do the surgical removal of the mass and send it for biopsy.
