Suggest Treatment For Painful Growth On Toe

I have a growth on my fourth toe of my right foot. This growth has been scrapped to the bone 3 times and it keeps returning. My podiatrist has suggested that I remove the top portion of the toe. Does this sound like good advise? The pain is with me all the time. Sheets on the bed hurt this toe. Is this an easy operation?

Hello.... recurrent growth on ur toe not seems to be a good sign... have u got done histopathology examination of growth in past??... if at all not done biopsy can be done prior to any surgical procedures on ur toe... and than we can plan accordingly....
