Suggest Treatment For Painful Inflammation On The Ball Of The Foot

My adult son has recently begun running on the treadmill (has new custom-fit running shoes) and developed an inflamed area on the ball of one foot. It is making it painful for him to walk and impossible to run. What is this? Is there any treatment other than rest?

Hi,
Welcome To Healthcare Magic.

I understand your concern.

You can treat this by giving him Tablet-Pecef (if no allergy), 200 mg, twice in a day at the interval of 12 hours for 5 days , Tablet-Vetory-SP (if no allergy), twice in a day after a meal with cold milk at the interval of 12 hours for 5 days and Capsule PAN-D (if no allergy), once in a day before 15 minutes of meal at the interval of 24 hours for 5 days.

Do dressing with 10% Wokadine (if no allergy) ointment on the affected area once in a day after cleaning. Avoid walking and wearing shoes. Use cotton socks to prevent dressing. Do not wet the dressing.

Hope this information will be helpful to resolve your query and further queries are always welcome. I will like to answer them.

Wish him good health.
Take Care, Thank You.
