Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My hymen seems to be too elastic and it s not torn after several intercources and multiple masturbation not only with fingers but also with a middle sized dildo. I went to a doctor and she refused to help break it, said we should try harder. The problem is that every single time i feel some pain at the entrance (where the hymen is supposed to be). it may seem a little stupid but I m not some 14 year old trying to have random sex, I m already 21 and i want to feel pleasure as well and I m desperate that this situation is going to last too long and I will have this pain every time I have sex. I took a mirror yesterday to see what it looks like (I know pretty well how and where it should be) and as I thought the vaginal opening is covered with tissue and it looks thick, not a thin membrane. Today I bought some lidocaine 5% gel and i wanted to ask if it s appropriate to try to break it. A friend of mine told me that her doctor just grabbed the tissue und pulled it down after she shared with him her concerns (the same problem with the exception that she is already married and has had sex for 2 years and her hymen is still intact)
Applying lubricating gels to the outer sexual organs, including the vulva and labia, and in the vagina, may be helpful to women and ease pain during intercourse. Intercourse position changes may also help." Sex toys, such as vibrators, may also be useful.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
