Suggest Treatment For Painful Lump After Hurting Leg

Hit my leg on the corner of my desk about 8 weeks ago. Never got a black & blue but now it s still hurting & I have a lump there. I m worried that it could be a blood clot. Meantime my back has been bad & my dr said its sciatica but pt & pills are not helping. Could they be related ?

I really appreciate your concern, such swelling could be due to some soft tissue inflammation and this is nothing to worry if this does not subside then better to get done the x-ray, sciatica may not be the prime concern here as the history of suggestive, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day
