Suggest Treatment For Painful Lump On The Sternum Area

Hi Doctor had a small round lump on the sternum area painful and palpable, had ultrasound , now requesting I have biopsy suggesting I have sebaceous cyst , history of fibrdomas cysts and had a bilateral subcutaneous mastectomies in 1989 I am post menapausal and had mammogram clear in February this year, feeling anxious

Hi there.

Nothing to suru about. Sebaceous cysts are quite common. Get an Ultrasound as well as a biopsy. Surgical excision may be done once biopsy proved.
