Suggest Treatment For Painful Lump On The Toes

I have a lump located on the bottom of my big toe, in between the ball of my foot and the big toe pad. Right where it bends, It has gotten larger over a period of time. The lump is fairly hard, it hurts to squeeze it and is a little sensitive to the touch. What would you suggest it is and what to for it. Thanks, Jeff.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think it would be better if you attach a photo of the bump on reports for me. I believe it can be infected so you may need to go to the surgeon to drain it and also you may need to use antibiotics.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
