Suggest Treatment For Painful Lymph Node Under Arm

I have a painful lymph node under my arm. A few weeks ago I was put on antibiotics for the pain. It went away half way through the antibiotics but now, about two weeks later, it is back again. I got a mammogram and ultrasound on that area and both were normal. What could this be? Should I take another round of antibiotics?

Hello
this could be a infected lymph node or abscess and TB lymph node
if you can upload a photograph I will be able to guide you better
in my opinion you should consult a general surgeon for clinical examination and a battery of tests like blood fro hemoglobin CBC blood sugar ESR and an FNAC

you may require a course of antibiotics depending upon the lab and FNAC reports
Clean it with antiseptic solution and apply antibiotic ointment like mupirocin
maintain good hygiene

hope this helps you
Best wishes
