Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I am so sorry to hear about your problem and will try my level best to solve it to the best of my knowledge and experiences.

As per your explanation of the symptoms it seems that high fever, along with swollen lymph nodes, blisters on tongue and swollen gums are all due to VIRAL INFECTION..

As the infection generally resolves once the virus completes its cycle in human body, therefore at present she can be given supportive treatment to relieve the symptoms..

You should continue to give her a combination of Ibuprofen and Tylenol to relieve pain and fever..
Ibuprofen will also help in reducing inflammation as well as swelling in throat and gums..

She can be advised to gargle with a numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine to relieve pain inside the mouth..
Do warm saline gargles.
Gargle with betadine solution by dissolving few drops in water to prevent secondary bacterial infection..
Avoid spicy and chilled foods.
Give her a soft bland diet..
Drink plenty of water..

In case if the symptoms does not resolve in a week or if it worsen, then you can consult an Infectious Medicine Specialist and he can do blood tests, oral swab culture etc to rule out the exact cause for the symptoms..

She can be advised a script of antiviral medications like Acyclovir along with other remedies to reduce the severity and duration of infection..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
