Suggest Treatment For Painful Muscle Spasms And Excessive Sweating In A Female

I have had very painful muscle spasms that have gotten worse over the last 4 to 6 weeks. I also have started sweating terribly as I wake up due to the muscle spasm to find my shirt wet and my hair soaked from sweat.. I have had a partial hysterectomy and have been thru all that.

Thanks for contacting with your health concern

1. A partial hysterectomy can often lead to menopause like symptoms [hot flashes] causing excessive sweating and flushing in the chest, so do consult an OB/GYN doctor regarding healthy lifestyle in addition to an alternative treatment method if this comes out to be the cause.

2. Other conditions which one has to excluded regarding excessive sweating and painful spasm is/are:
- low calcium level
- hypoparathyroidism
- thyroid level
- low potassium level
- any autoimmune disease [like autonomic myotonia, sclerosis] for which a Neurologist opinion and necessary investigation are mandatory.
