Suggest Treatment For Painful Pimple In The Vaginal Area

I am experiencing pain from a bite, pimple or ingrown hair in my vaginal area. This is embarrassing. I have attempted to lance it with a sterilized pin, but it s location makes that very difficult as I cannot see what I am doing. I fear it is infected. What can I do overnight until I can get to a Dr.s office. What advice can you offer? Thank you. I at YYYY@YYYY

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You can have hair follicle bacterial infection. I suggest you apply topical antibiotic cream over pimple Meanwhile you consult doctor. Don't scratch it with your nail or unsterilized needle. Keep that area clean and don't wear tight underwear.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
