Hi,

Treatment for stomach ulcers depends on the exact causes. If stomach ulcers may be resulted from H. pylori infections, then H. pylori should be eradicated by using a combination of antibiotics like Amoxicillin, Clarithromycin, Levofloxacin, Metronidazole, Tinidazole and Tetracycline. Medications like proton pump inhibitors such as Omeprazole, Lansoprazole, Rabeprazole, Esmoprazole and Pantoprazole that block acid production and promote healing, should be used and dose of this medication can be increased according to the severity.

Again, using of Antacids, can neutralize stomach acid and provide rapid pain relief. Medications like Sucralfate and Misoprostol which protect the lining of the stomach and small intestine can be used too. Again, if stomach ulcers may be resulted from using of NSAIDS or non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs, then reducing or eliminating use of NSAIDS will be helpful to heal stomach ulcers.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
