Suggest Treatment For Painful Swelling On Forehead After Injury
I fell.very hard and hit my head and from the middle of my forehead down to the right eye socket is swollen and I have a very painful squishy bump now. I am nauseous when I stand or move to much. Do I need to go to the er or just take it easy? This happened last night and I have already slept.
After going through your question, I can understand your concern.
You should go to ER. There is a need for detailed clinical examination including neurological examination.
There may be need of Brain imaging like CT brain to rule out any brain injury or hemorrhage.
As symptoms of intracranial hemorrhage or injury can occur long after time of impact (also called as lucid interval), it is important to rule out any intracranial injury by appropriate imaging timely.
Considering the nature of impact and it's presentation it is wise to go to ER get complete evaluation done as advised.
Hope this helps you, if so do vote as helpful.
