Suggest Treatment For Painful Swelling On The Bottom Of My Foot

I have pain on the bottom of my foot, right behind my toes. There seems to be some swelling in the joints there. After being on my feet all day, the pain gets almost unbearable, especially when I sit down in my car to drive home. I ve placed insoles in my boots, and cut a relief hole in the affected area, which seems to help a bit.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It may be due to blunt trauma.

For that you may require X Ray after orthopedician consultation.

For pain you can take tablet acetaminophen.

Restrict your movements

Further treatment mainly depends upon the underlying condition

Hope I have answered your query..
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr Shyam Kale
